WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR THERAPEUTIC JOURNEY

I tailor the methods integrated in our sessions based on what is best for your current needs, goals, and style. This can include an array of techniques, with inclusion of empirically validated approaches as well as alternative, traditional healing methods. You are the expert on your life story and experiences thus far. It's time to deepen your self-understanding, self-knowing, skills to manage the stress of daily living, and increase your sense of contentment and joy within your present experiences. Massive growth can happen in time, and it starts with an openness to dig deep within, and experiment with making simple small changes. Everyone's journey looks a bit different, and I can't wait to learn yours and travel alongside for a bit with you now.

SESSION FORMAT

Enjoy the benefits and ease of telehealth services

  • All sessions take place via video or phone through a secure connection

  • Sessions last 50 minutes (or 80 minutes with extended option)

  • "Homework" is not a term used here, though you will be given exercises to explore and thought experiments to consider at your leisure in-between sessions

  • Sessions can vary in structure, and  include such elements as mindfulness exercises to assess your current thoughts and emotional state, exploring current stressors and processing past experiences (as warranted in our collaboratively created treatment plan), investigating changes in the present that could increase joy or contentment, and learning new skills to regulate and manage emotions and unhelpful cognitive tendencies.
